Arrests
•Michael L. Black, 43, of 3849 Woodbriar Drive in Harvey, was arrested on Dec. 13 and charged with theft over $500.
•Melvin T. Vanacor III, 27, of 71 Shamrock Drive in Des Allemands, was arrested on Dec. 13 and charged with D.W.I., reckless operation, resisting an officer and open container.
•Cy Matthew Brown, 37, of 7100 LA 182 Highway in Morgan City, was arrested on Dec. 10 and charged with D.W.I., reckless operation, not driving on the right when possible and possession of drug paraphernalia.
•Jordon T. Stephenson, 17, of 246 Betty Drive in Montz, was arrested on Dec. 11 and charged with underage D.W.I. and reckless operation.
•Michael D. Organ, 55, of 1222 Lafayette St. in Houma, was arrested on Dec. 11 and charged with D.W.I. and vehicle not using light lamp.
•Robert D. Norris, 33, of 422 River Oaks Drive in Luling, was arrested on Dec. 11 and charged with D.W.I. and suspended driver’s license.
•Kent A. Gaines, 52, of 737 E. Hoover St. in New Sarpy, was arrested on Dec. 12 and charged with D.W.I., suspended driver’s license and vehicle not using light lamp.
•Brett M. Bersuder, 33, of 107 Julia St. in Paradis, was arrested on Dec. 16 and charged with D.W.I., hit and run driving, reckless operation, flight using motor vehicle, possession of Dolophine, possession of Roxicodone, suspended driver’s license, and operating under prior suspension.
•Shawen Green, 34, of 737 Malinda Court in Kenner, was arrested on Dec. 9 and charged with possession with intent SCH II - Crack, speeding, suspended driver’s license and resisting an officer.
Theft
•Assorted lawn equipment was stolen from 205 Turtle Creek Lane in St. Rose on Dec. 13.
•A laptop computer, total value of $500, was stolen from 103 Peter Lane in St. Rose on Dec. 10.
•A generator, total value of $700, was stolen from 316 Schoolhouse Road in Killona on Dec. 16.
•Assorted U.S. currency and assorted prescription medications were stolen from 323 W. Hoover St. in New Sarpy on Dec. 15.
•A flat-screen TV and a Wii system, total value of $750, were stolen from 732 Mockingbird Lane in St. Rose on Dec. 16.
