She is survived by her husband of 63 years, Ernest Antoine Haydel, four children: Craig David Haydel (wife Jane), Chris Michael Haydel, Marvin Charles Haydel (wife Leila) and Stephanie Haydel Kleehammer (husband Mark); seven grandchildren and two great-grandsons. She was preceded in death by her parents, Sarah Bosco Migliore and Angelo Migliore. She was passionate about cooking and taking care of her family. A funeral Mass was held at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church on Dec. 9 with interment following in the church mausoleum. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Helen Gray Crawford Foundation, c/o River Region Hospice, 507 Upstream, River Ridge, LA 70123. H.C. Alexander Funeral Homes was in charge of arrangements.
