Lucy Mae Rome, 82, passed away on Dec. 5, 2010.

She was a native and resident of Kraemer. She is survived by her four daughters: Sybil Usea (husband Kenneth), Lana Kraemer (husband Roy), Lynne Reulet (husband Terry Barrilleaux) and Tammy Granier (husband Mark); two nieces, Loretta Rodrigue and Cynthia Cortez, seven grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, one step-grandchild and two step-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Rome, her parents, Edgar and Marie Kraemer Cortez, two brothers, Edgar Cortez Jr. and Henry Cortez, and two sisters, Ella Mae Cortez and Mabel Cortez. Funeral services were held on Dec. 8 at Life Tabernacle Church in Kraemer with interment following in St. Lawrence Cemetery.
