PrintHugh “Nunnie” Dufrene, 77, passed away on Dec. 2, 2010 in Luling.
He was the beloved husband of Betty M. Dufrene, father of Carlon Dufrene Sr. (wife Debby), Kerry Dufrene Sr. (wife Becky), Byron Dufrene (wife Sandy) and Todd Dufrene Sr. (wife Lisa); son of the late Landry and Lelia O. Dufrene, brother of Lou Belle Bye, Lois Ford, Elaine Hue and the late Landry Dufrene; grandfather of 14 and great-grandfather of 23. He was preceded in death by Kylie Michelle Dufrene. He was a native and resident of Des Allemands.
Funeral services were held at Falgout Funeral Home in Raceland on Dec. 5. The family asks that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the American Cancer Society.
