Inez W. Hinchman, 83, died on Nov. 23, 2010.
She was a retired clothing sales consultant for 40 years at Richards Department Store in Norco and Stage in LaPlace. She was the beloved mother of Jay and Susie Lambremont, Connie Laws, Linda and Wayne Vasseur, Keyze and Jacqueline Lambremont, and the late Blake Hinchman and George Hinchman; sister of Althea Dupey, Virgie Navo, Madeline Melancon, Hubert Waguespack and E. M. Waguespack; grandmother of Jay, Michael, Lisa, Stephanie, Corey, Jason, Shawn, Ryan, Chris, Jenny, Georgie and Joy; and great-grandmother of 11. She was preceded in death by her first husband, John D. “Shorty” Lambremont, Jr., second husband, Marshall Hinchman, parents, Emile Waguespack and Mathilde Schexnaydre, sisters: Laura Boudreaux, Ruth Dornier and Marguerite Pekich; and brothers: Daniel, Leroy, Melvin and Ronald Waguespack. Mass of Christian Burial was held at the Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church in Norco with Fr. Terry Becnel officiating. Burial followed in the St. Charles Mausoleum in Destrehan.
