Community responds to brutal murder with candlelight vigil
Thelezia Folse
Residents from Norco and the surrounding area gathered at the home of Mary Nancy Arico last weekend.

Arico, 77, was stabbed and beaten to death in her home on Nov. 9. Her body was discovered lying on the kitchen floor more than two weeks after her death.

Her murder has shocked the close-knit community of Norco, and residents gathered together to hold a candlelight vigil in front of her home.

Four teens have been arrested in connection with the murder.
