Daigle
James “Jim” Daigle, 87, a native of Grosse Tete and resident of Des Allemands, was entrusted to God’s loving care on Nov. 25, 2010.
He is survived by three daughters: Gail D. Pitre, Sue D. Foglesong and husband Craig, and Virginia D. Pelotto and husband Samuel; nine grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Bertha Levron Daigle, two sons, Roland J. Daigle and Jimmy Daigle, and his parents, Eugene Daigle and Amelia Fayette Daigle. He was a cattle rancher and a veteran of the U.S. Army having served in World War II. Funeral services were held on Dec. 1 at Falgout Funeral Home in Raceland with Rev. L.J. Frickey officiating. Entombment followed at St. Gertrude Catholic Mausoleum in Des Allemands.
