R.K. Smith student attends leadership conference
Justin A. Cannon, an 8th grade student at R.K. Smith Middle School in Luling, recently attended the 2010-2011 National Young Leaders State Conference in Birmingham, Ala. for his outstanding academic achievement and leadership potential.

Justin would like to thank educator Leneshia Markey for nominating him and giving him this opportunity to attend the conference.


He would also like to thank all who supported him and made his trip possible. Justin is the son of Barry and Anitra Cannon of Hahnville.
