DHS lineman named All-American
Ethan Hutson, senior offensive lineman for the Destrehan High School Fighting Wildcats, was recently honored as a US Army All-American. Hutson, who was recognized for his outstanding play, received his US Army All-American honors in front of the DHS senior and junior classes.

He was presented his award by members of the US Army as well as his coach, Chris Stroud, and Principal Stephen Weber. Hutson has committed to play college football at the University of Mississippi.


Hutson will now take part in the U.S. Army All-American Bowl on Jan. 8. The game features the top high school seniors in the nation. Past alumni of the bowl include Adrian Peterson, Reggie Bush, Vince Young,  Mark Sanchez, Tim Tebow, C.J. Spiller, Anthony Davis, and Terrelle Pryor.
