Hooter
Mary Bowman Hooter, 70, passed away on Nov. 2, 2010 at her home. She was a native of Cottonport and has lived in St. Rose for the past 21 years. She was a member of Christ Gospel Church in Kenner for 30 years.
She is survived by her husband of 50 years, Ronald J. Hooter, four sons: Ronnie G., Chris (Anne), William (Susan) and Darrell (Rebecca) Hooter; four brothers: William Jr., Oscar, Sam and Jesse Bowman; seven grandchildren: Genna, Danielle, Michael, Ronald Jr., Jordan, Ethan and Jacob; two great-grandchildren and a host of friends and family.
She was preceded in death by her parents: William Bowman Sr. and Irene Lemoine, sisters: Lena and Cecile Dufour, Luby Ducote, Marie Bowman and Eva Bunch; one brother, Mason Bowman, and one brother-in-law, Al Joseph Hooter.
Funeral services were held on Nov. 5 at First Assembly of God Church in LaPlace with burial at the Jefferson Memorial Cemetery in St. Rose.
