Sean "Shern" Michael Bond passed away on Monday, Oct. 18, 2010. Age 31.
Beloved husband of one year to Heather Breaux Bond. Devoted son to Jay Bond of Biloxi, Miss. and Diana Laing of Bayou Gauche. Grandson of Ronald Laing of Portland, Ore., Jean Laing of Terrytown, the late Annette Barras-Bond and Woodrow Bond of Biloxi, Miss. Son-in-law to Guy and Fayla Breaux of Luling. Brother-in-law to Amanda Breaux of Luling. Grandson-in-law of Lawrence and Barbara Comardelle of McNeill, Miss., Priscilla Breaux and the late Oscar Breaux of Bayou Gauche.
Sean is survived by a host of family and friends. Godfather to Ashlynn Rebstock, Robert IV Rebstock, Alyssa Rebstock, Adam Folse and Zain Cameron. Resident of Marrero. Native of Bayou Gauche. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend services on Friday, October 22, 2010 at Life Fellowship Community Church in Bayou Gauche. Family viewing 8 a.m. to 9 a.m. Visitation 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. or until time of funeral. Burial to follow at Sunset Cemetery in Bayou Gauche. Falgout Funeral Homes in charge of arrangements.

Legislators vow to help parish fight huge insurance increases - 501 views

St. Pierre, along with eight other parish presidents and representatives from five other parishes, visited Washington, D.C. to talk to officials about the potential spike in local flood insurance premiums should large portions of the Biggert-Waters Act be allowed to take effect in October.
