Celebrating 64 years
Cletus and Pauline Martin recently celebrated their 64th wedding annivesary on Oct. 11 in Luling.
The couple is originally from Kentucky but love the weather in southern Louisiana.
Pauline especially enjoys the food and Cletus says she has really become a “bonafide cajun cook.”
They have two children, a son and a daugther.
They spent the day enjoying each other’s company.
“We just kiss each other and say ‘We made it for another year together,’” Cletus said.

Legislators vow to help parish fight huge insurance increases - 536 views
Parish President V.J. St. Pierre, along with eight other parish presidents and representatives from five other parishes, visited Washington, D.C. to talk to officials about the potential spike in local flood insurance premiums should large portions of the Biggert-Waters Act be allowed to take effect in October.
