Suspects are innocent until proved guilty in a court of law
Arrests
•Jennefer M. Hughes, 34, of 113 Upsilon Drive in Belle Chase, was arrested on Sept. 28 and charged with principle to obtaining a controlled dangerous substance by fraud (3 cts.), principle to obtaining a legend drug by fraud (3 cts.) and prohibited act of obtaining a blank prescription pad from a doctor.
•Susan T. Dugas, 43, of 59 Matis Road in Hahnville, was arrested on Sept. 24 and charged with aggravated battery.
•Cody Joseph, 33, of 308 Turtle Creek Lane in St. Rose, was arrested on Sept. 26 and charged with aggravated battery and disturbing the peace.
•Wayne A. Cortez, 54, of 2197 LA 18 Hwy. in Edgard, was arrested on Sept. 24 and charged with D.W.I. and reckless operation.
•Wade P. Melancon, 29, of 2676 Oscar Rivette Road in Arnaudville, was arrested on Sept. 25 and charged with D.W.I., reckless operation and no liability insurance.
•Michael R. Jenkins Jr., 25, of 1310 Lafayette St. in Houma, was arrested on Sept. 26 and charged with D.W.I. and reckless operation.
•Juan M. Garcia, 58, of 102 Barton Ave. in Luling, was arrested on Sept. 26 and charged with D.W.I. and reckless operation.
•Gail H. Cuttino, 43, of 120 Hollywood Park Drive in Montz, was arrested on Sept. 24 and charged with D.W.I., operating under suspension from prior offense, reckless operation, driving roadway lane of traffic, possession of Hydrocodone and possession of Carisoprodol.
•Mark Pierre, 61, of 201 River Oaks in Destrehan, was arrested on Sept. 25 and charged with aggravated assault, attempted simple burglary and disturbing the peace.
•Kelsey J. Wilson, 20, of 339 River Ridge Drive in Boutte, was arrested on Sept. 27 and charged with theft by unauthorized use of a credit card.
•Leroy Jackson, 38, of 168 River Oaks Drive in LaPlace, was arrested on Sept. 30 and charged with forcible rape.
Theft
•Copper A/C tubing, total value of $400, was stolen from 1010 LAC Lafreniere Drive in Luling on Sept. 28.
