Myrtle Dufrene Hoffman, 82, was called Home on Sunday, September 12, 2010.
She was the beloved wife of Henry Hoffman Jr., mother of Willa M. Foret (Donald), Craig J. Toups (Kathy) and Lynn M. Thibodeaux (Ronald); stepmother of Patsy Cailliet and Sue Triche, daughter of the late Cecile Parks and Toussaint Pierre Dufrene, sister of Ernest J. Dufrene, Virley D. Reeves and the late Glaze D. Chauvin, Mae D. Toups, Leonce P., Whitney J., Lester P., and Norris J. Dufrene. She is also survived by seven grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Funeral services were held at Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home on September 17.
Interment followed in Lake Lawn Park and Mausoleum. In lieu of flowers, donations preferred to the American Cancer Society or the Methodist Children’s Home. To view the guest book, visit www.lakelawnmetairie.com
