She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Rudolph Walker. She was the mother of Sharon Abel, Marlene Remondet, the late Patricia Williams and Robert Walker; grandmother of Janice (Judd) Joliboix, Justin Baudier, Susan Baudier (Evan Coleman), Bobby Abel, Adam, Gabe and Emma Remondet; great-grandmother of Griffin Joliboix and Christian Coleman; mother-in-law of Randy Abel, Peter Remondet, Danny Williams and the late Janice Lambert Walker; sister of Carolyn Duhe and George Landeche. She was preceded in death by parents, Alma and Robert Landeche, and sister, Mathilde De Vincent.

She was a native of Good Hope and resident of Destrehan. The family  thanks the staff of Ormond Nursing Home.

Mass of Christian Burial was held September 18 at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church in Destrehan with Fr. Harry Bugler officiant. In lieu of flowers, Masses are preferred. Family and friends are invited to send their condolences to: www.hcalexanderfuneralhome.com.
