VIP: Marlon A. Ferez
Army National Guard Pvt. Marlon A. Ferez has graduated from the Basic Field Artillery Cannon Crewmember Advanced Individual Training course at Fort Sill in Lawton, Okla.
The course is designed to train service members to maintain, prepare and load ammunition for firing, operate and perform operator maintenance on prime movers, self-propelled Howitzers, and ammunition vehicles, and much more.
He is the son of Delpha M. Acevedo of W. Louisiana State Drive in Kenner and brother of Arthur J. Ferez of Savanna Drive in Luling.
The private is a 2008 graduate of Alfred Bonnabel High School in Kenner.
