Jeanette Fanguy Cologne
Jeanette Fanguy Cologne, 73, passed away on Wednesday, August 4, 2010 in Raceland.


She was the beloved wife of the late Alfred Cologne Jr., mother of Barry Cologne Sr. and wife Ruth, Henry Cologne and wife Chrissy, Lisa Douglas and companion Calvin Sapia, and Bonnie Cologne; daughter of the late James Fanguy Sr. and Sadia P. Fanguy, sister of Jimmy Fanguy, Genevieve Cologne, Mary Jane Chauvin and Martha Eusea; grandmother of eight and great-grandmother of six. She was a native of Des Allemands and resident of Raceland. She was a member of St. Gertrude Ladies Altar Society, avid supporter of the Louisiana Catfish Festival and 2008 Grand Marshall of the Des Allemands Parade.


Relatives and friends were invited to a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Gertrude Catholic Church in Des Allemands on August 6 with interment following in the church cemetery. Falgout Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
