He was a veteran of the United States Army and a Certified Public Accountant for the St. Charles School Board.
Survivors include his loving wife, Mary Lou Dunn Lorio, step-son, Albert Dunn, step-daughters: Peggy Acosta, Linda Rook, Winnie Butter, Cathy Dominic and Mary Massey; brother, Allen J. Lorio Jr., sister, Lynn Rome, 10 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Allen Joseph Lorio Sr. and Hazel Marie D’Aguin, and one step-son, John Stephens.
Visitation and Christian service was held on August 11 at Falgout Funeral Home in Raceland with Rev. Edward Beckendorf officiating. Entombment followed in St. Charles Cemetery in Luling. Falgout Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
