Edward “Eddie” Forsyth, 75, passed away on Wednesday, June 23, 2010 at the Memorial Hospital in Gulfport, Miss. He was a salesman for 29 years with Coastal Engineering. He was a graduate of Lutcher High School. He is survived by a very good friend, Ray Richard, three brothers: Claude, Lucius and Louis Forsyth; and one sister, Noelie Hymel.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Lucius J. Forsyth Sr. and Noelie Marie Plaisance, and four siblings: Mable, Beatrice, Evelyn and Irving.

Visitation was held on June 28 at H.C. Alexander Funeral Home in Lutcher. Funeral services followed with Fr. Mark Beard officiating. Burial followed in the Jefferson Memorial Gardens in St. Rose. In lieu of flowers, the family request that Masses be given.

Funeral arrangements were under the direction of H.C. Alexander Funeral Home in Lutcher.
