De’Vante Michael Alexander, 17, passed away on Thursday, June 24, 2010 at St. Charles Parish Hospital in Luling.

He was the son of Carla Alexander and Michael Veal, brother of Courtney Williams, Jalea Alexander, Ke-Asia Perrilloux and Kayla Veal; grandson of Evelyn Alexander and Wilbert Alexander Sr., step-grandson of Murphy LaGaux Sr. He was also survived by one nephew and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and other relations and friends. He was a native and resident of Luling.

Relatives and friends of the family, also pastors, officers and members of Mt. Zion Baptist Church and all neighboring churches and staff, and students of Hahnville High School are invited to attend the funeral at Mt. Zion Baptist Church, 107 Magnolia Ridge Road in Boutte, on Thursday, July 1 at 11 a.m.

Visitation will be at the church at 9 a.m. Services are under the arrangement of Robottom Mortuary.
