Celebrating 65 years together...

Herbert and Marie Poche' of Ama celebrated their 65th wedding anniversary on Wednesday, May 26, 2010.

Herbert is 87 and Marie is 84 years of age.

Presently they enjoy keeping busy by spending a lot of time working for the RSVP and exercising at the gym, as well as visiting with family.

Together they share six children:  Rodney (Betty) Poche' of Columbia, Tenn., Jerry (Lori) Poche' of Ama, Patti (George) Bergeron of Grand Bayou, Joanne (Morris) Matherne of Ama, Carl (Patricia) of Ama, and Lena (Kyle) Barre of Luling.

Herbert and Marie also have 16 grandchildren and 35 great-grandchildren, two of which are deceased.

An intimate family dinner was held in their honor on Tuesday, May 25, 2010.
