Love is in the air
Roger and Marian Worcester of Destrehan will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary June 6, 2010.

The two were married in Pittsburg, Kan., on June 6, 1960. 


They have 3 children: Colette Worcester of Metairie, Justine Wolf and husband Scott of Caldwell, Tex., and Dawn Day and husband Reid of Ponchatoula.  They have three grandchildren: Michael Wolf and Ashley Walker of Caldwell, Tex., and Kelli Donnell of Ponchatoula. They also have four step-grandchildren: Paul Lewis and Chris Day of London, Ky., and Heather and Jason Rohner of Nashville, Tenn.  They have 2 great-grandchildren.


Roger Worcester worked as a USDA Inspector with the United States Department of Agriculture for 25 years until he retired in October 2001.  Marian Worcester is a homemaker.


Their children will be honoring them with a reception at their home in Destrehan.
