Schoeffner scholarship looking for DHS, HHS graduates
College students who have graduated from either Destrehan High or Hahnville High may be eligible to apply for the Ethel Schoeffner Scholarship.
The criteria to apply is:
•You are currently enrolled as a full-time student in a four-year education or nursing program at an accredited, four-year state college or university.
•You have reached at least your second semester of the sophomore year in either Education or Nursing.
•You are in good standing in either the education or the nursing curriculum as certified by a letter from the college.
Application forms may be obtained from the St. Charles Parish School Board Office, 785-6289.
Applications are for the 2010 fall semester, and the deadline for submitting your application and supporting documents is Tuesday, June 15, 2010.
The scholarship awards $500 per semester up to a maximum of $2,500.
