Valero appoints new VP

Prior to moving to the St. Charles refinery, Phillip served as vice president and general manager of Valero's Texas City, Texas, refinery. He has also served as the vice president and general manager of the company's Houston refinery, and has held several other key leadership positions since joining Valero eight years ago. Phillip began his career at the Phillips Petroleum Kansas City refinery, and then joined Amoco Oil Company, where he held various positions in operations and manufacturing during his 15 years there.
