Local gospel group to perform at Jazz Fest

The 14-member group, complete with a brass section, will perform on Friday, April 30 at 5:45 p.m. under the gospel tent.
The group was formed in 1975 as part of the Mt. Zion Baptist Church choir with only five members.
The group also performs regularly at various concerts throughout the New Orleans and Houma area and even travels as far as Texas sometimes.

Chaisson out as port director, Aucoin named successor - 568 views
