It's Community Ed. time again in St. Charles Parish
Registration will kick off August 31

Brochures and class lists will be mailed to St. Charles Parish Residents the first week in August. The deadline for registration is Aug. 31 and classes are scheduled to begin the week of Sept. 18. Brochures will also be distributed to surrounding libraries and various locations throughout St. Charles Parish and surrounding parishes. The complete brochure will also be available online at www.stcharles.k12.la.us.
Classes offered include arts & crafts, cooking, photography, dancing and much more. For more information about Community Education in St. Charles Parish contact Gwen Cashio at 785-3142.

Superintendent steps down to get down - 694 views
Dr. Rodney Lafon boiled down his decision to announce his retirement last month to a simple factor. With 40 years accumulated in the school system he had come to a point in his career where he would make nearly the same yearly salary as a retiree as if he chose to continue working.
