Lagniappe takes tourney title

After two days of baseball, the LA Lagniappe took home the championship as they defeated the Cobras 16-8 in the USSSA 10U championship game in the Opening Day Tournament held at the West Bank Bridge Park.

The team is made up of team members from St Charles and Jefferson Parishes.

The LA Lagnaippe previously won the Tiger Town Showdown recently hosted in Baton Rouge at Oak Villa Ball Park.
