Glenn and Sandy Maxwell of Luling announce the engagement of their son, Benjamin Jeremiah Maxwell, to Elissa Rae, daughter of Ray and Beth Yglesias of Greenwell Springs, La.

The bride is the granddaughter of Denham and the late Priscilla Corwin of Texas City, Tex. and Sue Neames and the late Raymond Yglesias of Baton Rouge.  She is a 2006 graduate of Central High School and will graduate in advertising from Louisiana State University in May. 


The groom is the grandson of Obray and Audrey LeBlanc of Westwego and Julie Barca and the late Glenn Maxwell Sr. of Bridge City, La.  He is a 2002 graduate of Hahnville High School and a 2007 graduate of Louisiana State University.  Ben currently works as a superintendent for Cajun Constructors.


The couple will exchange vows at 6 p.m. on Saturday, May 29, at University United Methodist church on the LSU campus.
