Arrests
•Gary L. Heacock, 54, of 406 Collins St. in Winslow, IN, was arrested on March 16 and charged with D.W.I. and improper control of vehicle.
•Griffis W. Thomas, 51, of 325 Lakewood Drive in Luling, was arrested on March 12 and charged with possession with intent to distribute a SCH I CDS to wit Marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession with intent to distribute a SCH II CDS to wit Hydrocodone (Lorcet), possession with intent to distribute a SCH IV CDS to wit Carisoprodol (Soma), possession with intent to distribute a SCH IV CDS to wit Alprazolam (Xanax), and CDS Law near school property (Drug Free Zone).
•Jonathan R. Munch, 24, of 5120 Eastern St. in New Orleans, was arrested on March 12 and charged with D.W.I., hit and run, and reckless operation.
•Catlin M. Landry, 24, of 4503 Louisiana 306 Hwy. in Bayou Gauche, was arrested on March 14 and charged with D.W.I. and reckless operation.
•Richard D. Jimenez, 27, of 41139 Don Lou Drive in Gonzales, was arrested on March 14 and charged with D.W.I., reckless operation and FUG/JPSO.
•Michael J. Billiot, 40, of 123 Deacon Court in Gray, LA, was arrested on March 13 and charged with D.W.I., suspended driver’s license and reckless operation.
•Oscar Beason Jr., 48, of 373 Smith St. in Hahnville, was arrested on March 18 and charged with simple battery, aggravated assault and 2 SCSO attachments after allegedly striking his live-in girlfriend in the back of the head and then holding a knife to her neck.
•Christian M. Tarullo, 39, of 325 Oak St. in St. Rose, was arrested on March 17 and charged with D.W.I. and hit and run.
•Troy J. Joseph, 19, of 608 Turtlecreek Lane in St. Rose, was arrested on March 15 and charged with possession with intent SCH I (Marijuana), driving roadway lane of traffic and SCSO attachment.
•Antonio R. Parker, 20, of 541 Turtle Creek Lane in St. Rose, was arrested on March 15 and charged with possession with intent SCH I (Marijuana) and FUG/JPSO.
•Ramon A. Vinnett of 325 Mockingbird Lane in St. Rose, was arrested on March 15 and charged with possession with intent SCH I (Marijuana).
•Judith C. Dubea, 40, of 229 St. Anthony St. in Luling, was arrested on March 15 and charged with possession of Marijuana, possession of legend drug (Wellbutrin), reckless operation, traffic control signal and registration certificate.
•Patrick J. Smith, 47, of 336 Davis Drive in Luling, was arrested on March 8 and charged with possession of Hydrocodone, possession of Oxycodone, possession of Alprazolam, possession of Marijuana, possession with intent (drug paraphernalia) and use of a firearm with a CDS.

Police dog sniffs out suspected burglar - 1600 views
With the assistance of a K-9 officer, police were able to track down a 23-year-old man who reportedly stole items from a car and broke into a house early Friday morning.
