Students volunteer at Earth Fest
Over 60 Harry Hurst Middle Wetland Watchers and Destrehan High WISE (Wildcats Interested in Saving the Environment) students volunteered as presenters at the Audubon Nature Institute’s popular Earth Fest.

Harry Hurst Middle 8th graders Maci Schexnayder and Dequaz Humphries hand out trees for visitors to take home to plant.

Students handed out over 2,300 trees during the weekend.
