St. Charles Hospital special election correction

The information printed on the front page of the July 13 issue of the Herald-Guide concerning the special election for St. Charles Parish Hospital on Saturday, July 15 was incorrect.

Proposition one is for a multi-million dollar expansion. The paper incorrectly stated that voters would also consider a 5 year millage increase for operating expenses. In fact, the 5 year millage is not an increase but has decreased. We apologize for the inconvenience.
