Pets go green for St. Patrick's Day
German Shephard Ziggy says hello to Bessie Mai at the St. Patty's Pet Pawrade at the German Coast Farmer's Market. Ziggy won first place in the parade
Parishioners were invited to costume their pets on a leash or in a carriage or wagon and parade them around the marketplace.
Prizes were awarded for the best presentations.
German Shephard Ziggy won first place, Brook LeBlance's dog Lucky won second place and Basset Hound Lucy won third after parading around in a pirate's costume.
