Valentine's party helps Haiti victims
Mrs. Courtney Moore's second graders at New Sarpy Elementary decided to give up their usual Valentine's Party to help someone else.

On Friday, Feb. 12, they brought donations of cash instead of buying boxes of Valentine cards and candy.

They made their Valentines and treats for their party. The cash totaled $116.10 and will go to send 3 buckets of food to Haiti.

They are participating in a program called Buckets of Hope. Each bucket will feed a family for a week.
