DUNN
Jessie Michael Dunn Sr., 68, a native of Raceland and resident of Des Allemends, passed away on Saturday, Dec. 26, 2009. Visitation was held on Dec. 30 at Samart-Mothe Funeral Home of Raceland and at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Paradis on Dec. 31.
A service followed with burial at Sunset Cemetery.
He is survived by his wife, Helen Dufrene Dunn; his children, Tammy Dawn Chiasson and husband Blake, Jessie Dunn Jr. and wife Lisa Liner, and Jody Dunn and wife Tammy Hotard; his grandchildren, Chris and Carla Chiasson, Remly and Keith Dunn, Bradley Dunn, Jeanice McKay and Jodi Ann Dunn; great grandchildren, Morrigan Sandlin and Miranda Dunn; brother John Dunn; and sisters, Katie Folse and Lorraine Horn. He is also survived by a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Orelia and Mike Dunn, his son Keith Anthony Dunn, brothers Armand “Son” Dunn, Roy Dunn Sr. and James Dunn; sisters Lydia Dufrene, Mayola Daigle and Alehta Baudoin.
Mr. Dunn loved music, playing his guitar, gardening, fishing and spending time with his family.
Samart-Mothe Funeral Home of Raceland was entrusted with the arrangements.
