HHS tennis star gets 'A+' in athletics
Congratulations to HHS senior Megan Gonzales, who was named one of this year’s A+ Athletes in an event sponsored by WWL-TV, McDonald’s, and Ronald McDonald House Charities.

Gonzales has been a member of the tennis team for all four years of high school and currently serves as captain.  She is also a member of Beta Club, National Honor Society, Student Council, Symphonic Band and Drama Club. She currently serves as co-captain of Fellowship of Christian Athletes, president of Spanish Honor Society and as drum major for the marching band.

Outside of school, Gonzales is an alter server and a member of the Holy Family Music Ministry and also serves on the Community Advisory Panel.

Gonzales has maintained a 4.0 GPA throughout her high school career.  She was honored at a luncheon with Jim Henderson where she received her award.

Hahnville High School will be awarded $400.00 in her name.
