The auction offered items that were both Christmas and Thanksgiving themed, as well as everyday items, such as purses and paintings.
Before the auction, items that the members had made or donated were laid out on tables for viewing. Once the auction began, each item was brought to the front of the room and displayed while bidding proceeded.
The auction is one of the major fundraisers for the Women’s Club. The members made, baked or donated seasonal items to be auctioned.
Roussell’s Anthony Lucia was the featured auctioneer.
All of the funds raised are used for scholarships or are donated to non-profit service organizations.
