Successful food drive by Valero

Valero employees “gave back” to the community by delivering 3,720 lbs. of food they collected during a recent food drive to Second Harvest Food Bank.

While they were there, they packaged 928 boxes of food in just 2 hours.

The food that was packaged is being delivered on Saturday, Nov. 21 to needy families in the community.

The food drive and food packaging are just two of the Valero Volunteer activities that will be taking place this holiday season.

Upcoming activities include: visiting local nursing homes and senior centers, hosting a senior citizen luncheon, assisting with a toy and gift fund, and visiting Children’s Hospital.
