Administer of Confirmation was Bishop Dominic Carmon, DD retired Bishop of the Archdiocese of New Orleans. He was joined by Deacon Paul Donnaud and Fathers John Finn, retired ,and Father Bernard C. Francis pastor of Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Church. Instructors for Candidates of Confirmation were Mr. & Mrs. Sidney Becnel.

Woodruff wins District II seat by 20 votes - 636 views
The runoff election for the District II council seat ended Saturday night with a very narrow margin of victory for William "Billy" Woodruff over Mary Clulee.
