Destrehan, Motiva recognize kids for dress code, tardies
For the last few years, Destrehan High School and Motiva have been recognizing students who are taking care of business by living up to our ROARS expectations.

Every month or so the school tallies the amount of dress codes and tardies per grade level. The sophomore class won the first competition of the 2009-2010 school year. This victory enabled all sophomores with no tardies or dress code infractions to be eligible for a drawing for a $25 check, free tickets to football games, and DHS trinkets. Winning the $25 were: Nicholas Anderson, Nashe Decker, Emily Robicheaux, Nicholas Scullin. Winners of free football tickets were: Carlyn Gordon, Walter Johnson, Renee Laurent, Madison Tully. Winners of DHS merchandise were: Corey Lumous, Alicia Morales, Michael Rodriquez, Dereck Robinson. Congratulations to the sophomore class!
