Loyola Zeringue, age 85, passed away on Wednesday, Aug. 26, 2009 at 5:45 a.m. at the St. Charles Parish Hospital.

She was an elementary school teacher with the St. Charles Parish School District for over 33 years. She is survived by two daughters, Pam Braud-Montreuil and her husband, Jimmy, and Gina Kemp and her husband, Allen. One brother, Marc Hymel and his wife, Janet and one sister, Marie Hymel. Three grandchildren; Michelle Braud, Marc and Paul Kemp. Three step-grandchildren; Lisa Cook, Michele Montreuil and Jimmy Montreuil, Jr. She was preceded in death by her husband, Marshall “Cutter” Zeringue. Parents; Sidney L. Hymel and Cleona Esneault. One brother, Jules Hymel. Visitation was held on Friday, Aug. 28, 2009 from 9:30 a.m. until 10:45 am at the St. Anthony Catholic Church in Luling. Mass of Christian Burial was held at 11 a.m. from the church. Burial followed in the St. Charles Cemetery in Luling. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of H. C.
