Bonnet Carre Garden Club installs new officers

The day began at 11 a.m. on May 18 at La Maison Magnolia in Norco.  Guests were surrounded by beautiful floral arrangements and many trimmings that were typical of Pat Shelsey, Chairman of the event.  Alice St. Amant and Yolande St. Pierre assisted Pat.


After lunch was served, Yolande St. Pierre announced those with perfect attendance for the year and presented each one with a small potted plant.  Members with perfect attendance included, Alice St. Amant, Audrey Brady, Jane Banquer, Lola Lucas, Connie Hatfield and Josie Paine.


The "Woman of the Year" award was presented to Yolande St. Pierre.


Pat Shelsey readied everyone for the installation of officers for 2006-07, telling each officer her duties and presenting to each one various herbs.
