Bergeron
Roy Joseph Bergeron passed away on July 29, 2009 at the age of 61. He was born on January 7, 1948 and was a native of Des Allemands and resident of Thibodaux.
Bergeron is survived by his two brothers and their wives, Bryan Bergeron and Laurella and Stanley “Skippy” Bergeron and Yvonne, as well as his sister and her husband, Yolanda B. Triche and Wayne. He is also survived by numerous niecesand nephews, as well as great nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Lucien “Dale” and Marguerite A. Bergeron.
Visitation was on July 31, at Mennonite Church from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m., and on August 1 at the church from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial followed at 10 a.m. in the Mennonite Cemetery.
Arrangements were made by Samart-Mothe Funeral Homes of Raceland.

Police dog sniffs out suspected burglar - 1627 views
With the assistance of a K-9 officer, police were able to track down a 23-year-old man who reportedly stole items from a car and broke into a house early Friday morning.
