Mae Degruise Waguespack, passed away on Monday, July 13, 2009 at 8:17 a.m. in Thibodaux.

Beloved wife of the late Harris A. Waguespack, Jr. Mother of Mary W. Weimer of Morgan City and Evelyn W. Dupuy of Luling and Janet W. Owens of Luling. Daughter of the late Adonis and Josephine Baye Degruise. Sister of Wilfred Degruise, Joyce D. Plaisance and the late Sidney Degruise and Mildred D. Rodriguez. Also, survived by eight grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.

A native of Raceland and resident of Thibodaux. Age 93 years. She was a member of the Knights of Columbus Ladies Auxiliary. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the funeral. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Holy Savior Catholic Church in Lockport on Friday, July 17 at 10 a.m. Interment Holy Savior Cemetery. Visitation from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Thursday, July 16 at Falgout Funeral Homes, 600 Church St., Lockport, and from 8 a.m. until funeral time Friday, July 17 at Holy Savior Catholic Church, 612 Church St., Lockport. Falgout Funeral Homes in charge of arrangements.
