Locals place in Louisiana Artist Association open art show

Louisiana Artist Association, which is based in St. Charles Parish, held an open art show at Clearview Mall on June 12-14. An open art show is open to both members and nonmembers.

The winners were as follows:

1st Place - “Patio Window” by Betty Jean Bordelon

2nd Place - “Early Morning Rendezvous” by Pat Caraccioli

3rd Place - “Cabbage Rose” by Gloria Esthus

Honorable Mention - “Creole Ladies” by Joyce LaPorte

Honorable Mention - “Red Lilies” by Jules Chatelain

1st Place - “Shadows” by Mariloy Galle

2nd Place - “New Orleans” by Gerry Claude

3rd Place - “Abstract Earth” by Sylvia Mothe
