Eldridge “Mickey” Daniel Schaubhut, age 90 years, passed away on Tuesday, May 19, 2009 at his home in Des Allemands. Beloved son of the late Edward Schaubhut and Elizabeth Champagne Schaubhut.

Survived by and married to Mabel Champagne for 70 years. Brother of the late Anthony Schaubhut, Deane Folse and Iris Lunk. Survived by brother Edward and sister March Dufrene and Joyce Donnaud. Father of Steven Schaubhut (Beverly), Sue Champagne (Wayne), Edward “Jimmy” Schaubhut (Doris), Barry Schaubhut, Brian Schaubhut (Clair) and Margo Tastet (Russell).

“Paw-Paw” to 17 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren and 4 great great grandchildren. An avid fisherman, hunter and trapper and retiree of The Texas Pipeline Company (Texaco). Relatives and friends were invited to attend funeral services at St. Gertrude Catholic Church in Des Allemands on Friday, May 22, 2009. Falgout Funeral Homes in charge of arrangements.
