5 NSE kids compete in LA fitness meet
Five students from Norco 4-6 and one from Norco K-3 Elementary School were selected to participate in the State Fitness Meet held in Lafayette on April 25.

Students from twenty parishes throughout the state competed in seven fitness events: sit-ups, pull-ups, sit-n reach, shuttle run, standing long jump, 50-yard dash and the 600-yard run.

This was the first time that any students from St. Charles Parish participated in the meet.
