ZERINGUE
On May 16, 1916, God blessed Clorinne and Francois Schexnaydre in a very special way with the birth of a beautiful baby girl, Isabelle.
On March 28, 2009 at 4:53 pm, Isabelle S. Zeringue spread her wings and took flight home into eternal rest. Isabelle was preceded in death by her loving husband Joseph Andre Zeringue, her infant daughter Nelwyn Anne Zeringue and her siblings Phedelise S. Zeringue, Palmire S. Mateja, Dora S. Zeringue and Francois E. Schexnaydre. The sweet memories of Isablelle will be cherished by her children: James A. Zeringue and his wife, Dale; Janice Z. Hymel, Isabelle Z. Benoit her husband, Carlton; Paul M. Zeringue and his wife, Carolyn; Gayle Z. Bourgeois; Ronald C. Zeringue and his wife, Irma; Jenny Z. Oncale.
She leaves behind her siblings: Clorine S. Zeringue, Helen S. Zeringue, Urban L. Schexnaydre, and Thomas P. Schexnaydre. Her grandchildren are: Jamie Z. Hue, James Zeringue, Jr., Joseph P. Zeringue, Lenore “Lenni” H. Martinez, Todd G. Benoit, Rhonda B. Schexnayder, Nelwyn B. Terracina, C. David Benoit, Paul M. Zeringue, Jr., Melissa Z. Allred, Jason F. Zeringue, Andree˘ B. Domingue, Ashley B. Thibodaux, Monique M. Bourgeois, Kristie Z. Orgeron, Brooke M. Zeringue, Ron M. Zeringue, Paul J. Oncale III, Brandon J. Oncale, Jennifer O. Radulovic.
Her great-grandchildren are: Brianna, Michelle & Nicole Hue; Kevin, Randy, Sarah, Gabrielle, Alexis and Makayla Benoit; Clint, Kaitlyn, and Kurt Schexnayder; Angelle, Andre˘ and Nicolas Terracina; Jasmine, Emily, Jason, and Abigayle Zeringue; Shawn, Nathan, and Lucas Allred; Dylan, Dustin, Malori, and Tyler Domingue; Taylor Thibodaux; Cade and Owen Bourgeois; Braden and Addison Oregeron; Kaylah and Corbin Oncale; Vuk and Karoline Radulovic. S
he also leaves behind a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered as a loving and loyal wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend, who cherished her family.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a visitation to be held at H. C. Alexander Funeral Home in Norco(4th Street) on Wednesday, April 1, 2009 from 5:00 pm until 9:00 pm; and visitation on Thursday, April 2, 2009 from 8:00 am until 10:00 am at Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Hahnville. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 am at the church. Burial will follow in the St. Charles Mausoleum in Luling, LA with Fr. Bernard C. Francis officiating.
