Arrests
• Tammy Rowell, 48, of 339 Carolyn Dr. in Destrehan was arrested on March 18 and charged with possession of hydrocodone, marijuana, drug paraphernalia and possession of a firearm while in possession of a controlled substance.
•Kerwin Riley, 27, of 320 Meadows Dr. in Destrehan was arrested on March 17 and charged with monetary instrument abuse in the amount of $3,950.
•Adrienne C. Lee, 52, of 320 St. Anthony St. in Luling was arrested on March 16 and charged with DWI, careless operation, and possession of Alprazolam, Hydrocodone and Lunesta.
•David LeBeauf, 42, of 515 Kennedy St. in Ama was arrested on March 16 and charged with DWI, speeding and reckless operation.
•Dennis M. Manieri, 44, of 118 Bayou Estates South in Des Allemands was arrested on March 13 and charged with possession of stolen property over $500.
•Orelyn T. Chopin Sr., 39, of 312 Meadows Dr. in Destrehan was arrested on March 13 and charged with aggravated battery.
•A 54-year-old Destrehan man was booked with aggravated incest for assaulting a now 10-year-old girl during several years, a St. John the Baptist Parish Sheriff’s Office spokesman said Tuesday.
Jerry Lambert, of 242 Destrehan Drive, was booked Monday at 6:30 p.m. in connection with incidents the victim said began in 2003.
A relative called authorities on Saturday to report that Lambert had been sexually assaulting the 10-year-old, Clement said.
Further details about the investigation were not released Tuesday.
Based on the complaint and the investigation’s findings, the report stated a warrant was issued for Lambert’s arrest Saturday.
Lambert was also booked with simple assault.
Theft
•A 9mm semi-automatic firearm, valued at $140, was stolen from 539 Mockingbird Lane in St. Rose on March 13.
•A semi-automatic 40-caliber handgun, valued at $300, was stolen from 2209 Paul Maillard Rd. in Boutte.
•An inflatable funhouse, valued at $1,500, was stolen from 121 Manor Lane in Luling on March 15.
•An iPod, valued at $275, was stolen from 200 Tiger Dr. in Boutte on March 16.
•An armoire, a dining set, a wood chest and a washing machine, total value $850, were stolen from 338 2nd St. in St. Rose on March 16.
•A 9-mm rifle, a 9-mm Beretta, assorted 9-mm rounds, a holster, four 9-mm magazines, a box of shotgun shells and a prescription of Valium, total value $690, were stolen from 157 Belsome St. in Ama and March 15.
•A 1994 Chevy Silverado, valued at $8,000, was stolen from 401 River Oaks Dr. in Luling on March 14.
•A 2000 tractor and a 1999 trailer were stolen from 12727 Highway 90 in Luling on March 17.
•A 12-foot flat boat, valued at $800, was stolen from 3859 Highway 306 in Des Allemands on March 17.
•Two bicycles, total value $420, were stolen from 1255 Primrose Dr. in Luling on March 18.
