Arrests
• Eugene V. Plake, 21, of 172 Annex St. in New Sarpy was arrested on March 4 and charged with second degree battery.

•Jeffery Smith, 44, of 338 California St. in Thibodaux was arrested on March 4 and charged with theft over $500.

•Tiffany M. Monchaud, 22, of 129 Gassen St. in Luling was arrested on March 2 and charged with possession of prescribed ibuprofen.

•Gerard C. Milton of 153 Oswald St. in LaPlace was arrested on March 2 and charged with possession of marijuana and Lortab.

•Pernell Simmons, 35, of 16479 LA 631 in Des Allemands was arrested on March 2 and charged with possession of heroin, crack cocaine, marijuana, drug paraphernalia, possession of a controlled substance in the presence of minors, monetary instrument abuse and on a St. Charles Sheriff’s Office.

•Judy A. Simmons, 52, of 415 Boutte Estates in Boutte was arrested on March 3 and charged with possession of drug paraphernalia.

•Charles R. Poppiti, 54, of 10509 Carthage in River Ridge was arrested on March 2 and charged with DWI, reckless operation and possession of carisoprodol.

•Kenneth W. Poole, 24, of 121 Lakewood Dr. in Luling was arrested on Feb. 27 and charged with possession of percocet.

•Andrew J. Willis IV, 31, of 532 Ave. B in Westwego was arrested on Feb. 28 and charged with DWI, ignored traffic control, expired motor vehicle registration and no seatbelt.

•Henry M. Bush Jr., 39, of 3001 Sheerwood Dr. in LaPlace was arrested on March 1 and charged with DWI, aggravated flight from an officer and reckless operation.

•Floyd A. White, 42, of 489 Killona Dr. in Killona was arrested on Feb. 28 and charged with DWI, reckless operation, open container, proper equipment required and suspended driver’s license.


Theft
•Assorted lumber, valued at $1,500, was stolen on 3552 LA 306 in Des Allemands on Feb. 27.
•A Playstation 3, two MP3 players and a gym bag, valued at $790, were stolen from 337 Madewood Dr. in Destrehan on Feb. 28.

•An impact wrench and a generator, valued at $2,000, was stolen from 10531 River Rd. in St. Rose on March 3.
