Hymel
Catherine Ann Hymel entered into eternal rest with her heavenly father on Feb. 17, 2009 at the age 73. Catherine was a resident of Luling and a native of Breaux Bridge.
She was the daughter of John R. and Elodie Guidry. Beloved wife of 45 years to Hubert (Tee Boug) Hymel, Jr. She is also survived by her 4 children, sons Kenneth Suydam and his wife Linda, Michael Hymel and his partner Darren, daughters Deborah Thomas Curry and her husband Arnold, and Karen Hymel. She will be fondly missed and forever in the hearts of her grandchildren, Becky, Stormi, Lisa, Katlin, Damon, Ellis and her great- grandchildren. A gathering of friends and family for a time of remembrance was held on Thursday, Feb. 19 from 6 p.m. until 9 p.m. with a Memorial Mass at 7 p.m. at Mothe Funeral Home.
